Empowerment and Livelihoods

This component aims to improve the financial security and resilience of women and girls with albinism, as well as their families.

It enhances their knowledge of, access to, and confidence in owning and utilizing economic resources. This is achieved through:

  1. Inclusive Education & Rehabilitation: Promoting inclusive formal education for children with albinism (CWA) and providing community-based rehabilitation, including the provision of essential protective appliances.
  2. Skills & Vocational Development: Providing vocational training tailored to create sustainable livelihoods.
  3. Economic Empowerment: Supporting on-farm and off-farm income-generating activities alongside small-scale business development.
